In 1980, California farmers Bart Fisher
and his father, Dana, faced similar management challenges to
your own - communicating
with supervisors and workers over scattered and changing geographic
areas. Existing two-way radio, PCS and cellular service was inadequate
and unaffordable. Bart solved the problem by building a mountaintop "SMR" relay
system and creating a wide- area dispatch capability that suited
his management needs.
Recognizing the potential, the Fishers entered the wireless communication
business. With pioneering knowledge and first-hand experience in
managing business communication problems from a perspective much
like your own, Fisher Wireless now serves growers, harvesters,
truckers, building contractors, delivery services, fleet owners,
public agencies, and other customers within rapidly expanding areas
of California, Arizona, and Nevada.
